Server .NET Team blog requests

The list of things to blog on about ArcGIS Server .NET @ 9.2 is huge, so, we are prioritizing these for our kickoff of the blog site (right Jeremy?). I would like to take the opportunity to take requests for things you would like to know more about. Send me comments here so that we can add them to our list. Using the current bloggers posts (like Dave Bouman's), we have an idea of what is needed. We can always use more.

	没有名字发表: A nice and helpful blog would be on developing registering the simplest of utiliy COM objects. I was having trouble creating and building a simple class, because I had trouble getting the GUID (which I actually tried to obtain from the assembly info properties) I also had major trouble compiling my class when using the following tags (as noted in the <GuidAttribute("1FFA6B75-D634-48AE-9BB1-D4DC783C1F27")> _ <AutomationProxy(True), ClassInterface(ClassInterfaceType.AutoDual), Guid("1FFA6B75-D634-48AE-9BB1-D4DC783C1F27")> _ just a suggestion... thanks!!! I would like to know how ArcGIS Server 9.2 fits into an Enterprise SOA architecture, I've seen that ESRI mentions this in the system design strategies http://www.esri.com/systemsint/kbase/strategies.html but a real world sample showing how to use ArcGIS Server in a SOA architecture for creating business workflows would be great. Just for some ideas, from what I gathered from my presentations last week on server, I noticed that users out there were very interested in custom development using ArcGIS Server 9.2. Mainly on how to do things like custom point tools and rectangles and also making using on the in memory graphics layer. While the ADF has quite a few contols, these other libraries and their derivatives are both widely used and have a large community supporting them. And, while I'm asking for things, how about a discussion of your support scenario for handling bugs in the ADF. I'm sure the testing was comprehensive, but once you unleash it, people are going to try a lot of weird things with it, and bugs will be found. Are you releasing the source for the controls? Can we access _all_ the javascript? Or are you planing on a rapid patch process (like once a week/month)? I'm asking because as a developer and consultant, I want to be sure that should I find a some critical issues in the ADF, that I'm not "stuck" until the next release, and then only hoping that my bug got addressed. This exact thing happened with the ActiveX connector for IMS, and in the end people (myself included) created their own connector rather than deal with it. Since the ADF is significantly more complex, and deals with front end cross browser issues, rather than simple Xml requests, I'm sure that issues will occur.
